Court Update
Mark Benson, the man charged with 3 felony counts of vehicular homicide, 1 felony count of grave bodily harm, 1 misdemeanor count of bodily harm, 1 misdemeanor count of driving while revoked, and having been convicted of his third OWI offense 2 days prior to the crash, is incarcerated at the Waukesha County Jail awaiting trial. His bond is $1,000,000 cash. Benson has had many court dates. The latest court date to argue motions was 10/9/08. Trial is expected to begin early 2009. The trial judge is J. Mac Davis, Chief Judge of the Circuit Court, Waukesha County.
