Judge Denies Request To Lower Mark Benson's Bail

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- A Waukesha County judge on Thursday denied Mark Benson's request to have his bail lowered.
Benson is accused of killing Jennifer Bukosky, 39, her fetus, and her 10-year-old daughter while driving under the influence of prescription drugs on April 25.
Her 12-year-old son survived with minor injuries, and another child was severely injured but survived.
Bukosky was an administrator at Oconomowoc High School.
Benson's bail is set at $1 million. The former surgeon had asked to have his bail reduced to $100,000, but the judge feared Benson was a flight risk.
