Fundraiser Held In Honor Of Bukosky

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. -- A fundraiser at Oconomowoc High School Friday was held in honor of Jennifer Bukosky, the pregnant assistant principal who investigators said was killed by a driver high on prescription drugs.

For the past five years, Oconomowoc High School's marketing students have held the "Grilling To Give" event to benefit a local charity. Today, all proceeds will go to the Bukosky Memorial Fund.

"The students have just been amazing throughout this for their support for the family," said Michael Bukosky, Jennifer's husband. "Everybody comes up to us and thanks us for being involved in helping them. They've helped us more than they can even imagine ..."

Bukosky, her unborn baby and 10-year-old daughter were killed in the car accident.

Organizers hoped the event would raise between $6,000 and $8,000.
