Judge Grants Motion To Lower Mark Benson's Bail
Former Doctor Accused Of Driving Under Influence Of Prescription Drugs

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- A judge has granted a motion to lower Mark Benson's bail from $1 million to $500,000.
Benson is accused of killing Jennifer Bukosky, 39, her fetus, and her 10-year-old daughter while driving under the influence of prescription drugs on April 25.
Bukosky's 12-year-old son survived with minor injuries, and another child was severely injured but survived.
A judge denied Benson's request for his bail to be lowered to $100,000 in June, saying he feared the former surgeon was a flight risk.
Benson was still in jail Friday morning.
Bukosky was a school administrator in Oconomowoc.
